I’m so high the sun won’t go down Been gone for so long I don’t know what I know now There’s no way and no how For me to go back now But even if there was I would probably black out What now? Everything feels so late Post everything just so you can seal your fate We going the long way The scenic route They pressure your wounds but you bleeding out What you seeing now Is the begging of the ending The start of act 3 but there’s no need for pretending If you don’t know anything fake apathy And if you’re going out then I hope it ends happily The world left us not the other way around And we got on one knee as soon as we touched down Our emotional space is turning hollow Earth is a tough act to follow Hope to see you tomorrow Mahalo

about

Post-Everything is the follow up to my 2018 album Absolute Zero. That album told the story of the last remaining Humans who had to flee an uninhabitable Earth. Post-Everything is the story of the human race trying to rebuild society. Will they be better stewards than the humans that came before them?

The idea to follow up Absolute Zero came to me after listening to the song “Things It Would Have Been Helpful to Know Before the Revolution” by Father John Misty (no relation). The song is about what happens after we finally overthrow the government and get back to living off the land.

Post-Everything is Yona & Tim at the end of Snowpiercer: now that we blew the door off the train, what do we do now?
