Undiscovered Colors It is a mediation on the malaise of midlife.

It also completes the color trilogy that started with Pink in 2019 and Black in 2020.

The title is taken from the Aesop Rock song “Abandoned Malls”. It's a reference to the idea that we all have the same color palette yet ever artist is still trying to create something never seen.

That album cover was almost the painting “The Record Player” by Karl Hofer but I didn’t want to get sued. Instead I used a selfie I took a few years ago during lock down. I liked it because I don't think it looks like me. I remember looking at it wondering who this person was. What's more midlife than that?
